Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is a student-centric teaching model. Instead of just finishing the syllabus, it focuses on what students can actually do and apply after completing a course. In simple terms, it shifts the focus from "what the teacher taught" to "what the student learned and achieved."
For Bihar Government Polytechnic colleges, which operate under the State Board of Technical Education (SBTE Bihar), this model plays a major role in improving technical skills and employability.

* Preparing for NBA AccreditationAccording to AICTE and NBA rules, following the OBE model is now mandatory for technical colleges. Government polytechnics in Bihar are actively working to get NBA accreditation for their branches. An NBA certificate greatly increases the value of a student's diploma certificate.
