The Department of Mechanical Engineering continues to excel in research, academic innovation, and holistic development. Demonstrating strong research capabilities, the faculty members have published 12 research papers, including 6 SCI, 2 Scopus, and 4 International Journals. Additionally, Dr. Ranveer Singh Rana published a notable book chapter, and Mr. Narendra Kumar successfully presented his research work at the International Conference on Mechanical and Industrial Technologies. In the realm of academic advancement, the faculty successfully completed the Curriculum Development for SBTE under the expert mentorship of NITTTR, Bhopal. 

To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department regularly organizes student enrichment seminars. Key sessions included an AI awareness and career guidance seminar by Techs Arthi Consultancy Services, a financial discipline workshop by Ms. Smriti Panchori, and specialized technical sessions on advanced manufacturing and modern automobile technologies by experts from Srinath University, Jamshedpur and TATA Motors, collectively benefitting over 315 students. Beyond academic endeavors, the department also brought laurels in sports, with HOD Mr. Narendra Kumar representing the institute as a member of the State Level Winner Volleyball Team at the Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna.
